It's child's play - Dolls house dreaming

It's child's play - Dolls house dreaming

When I was a little girl, I had this poster on my wall. It was a beautifully detailed illustration of a secret mouse house, intricately carved into the inside of a big tree trunk, complete with tiny mice characters, teeny tiny bedrooms, living spaces and furniture. Lovely.  And yet, just thinking of our adventures abroad earlier this year is enough to make my heart start to race, my feet start to itch, and my mind flood with a...

There is more to this buzzing borough than just great street art, rooftop bars and hipsters. There are green spaces and playgrounds for the kids and baseball and soccer fields for the locals. Children's museums and organic markets. Treelined streets and brownstones juxtapose with industrial eyesores. Oh, and the best part, everywhere you go, there is food that will knock...
